| The 1st East Anglian Medieval Fayre at Rougham Airfield near Bury St Edmunds. An excellent event where Destrier jousted and undertook mounted hunting games; the Paladins of Chivalry fought in a tourney and demonstrated the arming of a knight; the Company of St Barbara performed an artillery display; the Herbert Household showed off their skill with the longbow, the Lancaster Armouries ‘went for it’ in the full contact tourney; Schelmish performed their celtic medieval groove and the Early Medieval Alliance and other groups undertook the battle of the flags. |
